New York City Ballet and strawberries

The ballet is coming. 20 performances in July. The schedule was just released and it is a great one. If you are a ballet lover, as we are, then come for a visit.

Our spring gardens are at their best this year. I have been working in them a great deal.

Heard that mothballs keep rabbits, deer and voles away from flowers-so I put some around. Also put some in the strawberry patch. Dont ever do that! The gorgeous berries have a funky taste-not like moth balls, but not edible either. And it was a bumper crop this year. Hate to throw them all away, but have to. Can't think of any other reason they would taste so terrible.
